These terms apply when you place an order or reservation through this website operated by China Palace (“we”, “us”). By submitting an order or booking you agree to these terms.

Orders

• An order is an offer to buy. We may accept or decline an order (for example if an item is unavailable, you are outside our delivery area, or we are closed).
• Prices shown are in GBP and include VAT where applicable unless stated otherwise.
• Collection and delivery availability, lead times, and fees are shown at checkout and may change with opening hours or demand.
• Please check your order carefully before paying or confirming. Special requests are noted where possible but cannot always be guaranteed.

Delivery and collection

• Delivery is only available to postcodes / areas we serve, subject to any minimum order and delivery fee shown at checkout.
• Estimated times are guides only. Actual times may vary due to kitchen load, traffic, or weather.
• Please ensure someone is available to receive a delivery at the address you provide.
• For collection, bring your order confirmation or name when you arrive.

Payment

Payment methods offered at checkout (for example cash on collection / delivery, or card online if enabled) will be shown before you confirm. Online card payments, when available, are processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers on this website.

Cancellations and refunds

Fresh food orders are prepared quickly. Once cooking has started we may be unable to cancel or refund. If you need to change or cancel an order, contact us by phone as soon as possible using the number on this site. Where we are at fault (for example a clear order error on our side), we will discuss a fair remedy such as replacement or refund.

Distance-selling cooling-off rights often do not apply in the same way to perishable food prepared to your specification — contact us if you have a problem and we will help where we can.

Allergens and dietary requirements

Please tell us about allergies or intolerances before you order. See our Allergy Information page. Our kitchen handles major allergens and we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment. Menu icons and descriptions are a guide only.

Table reservations

If online table booking is enabled on this site, a reservation is a request for a table at the date and time you select. We may contact you to confirm or rearrange. Please arrive on time or call us if you are delayed. Repeated no-shows may affect future bookings.

Accounts

If you create an account, keep your login details secure. You are responsible for orders placed through your account. Guest checkout is available where shown.

Website use

You must not misuse this website (for example attempting to disrupt the service, scrape content abusively, or place fraudulent orders). We may suspend access where we reasonably suspect abuse.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by UK law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability for an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you may have in your place of residence in the UK.
